This may involve administering a diagnostic test, reviewing previous math work, or conducting an initial meeting with the student and their parent(s) or teacher.

Goal setting: Based on the assessment, the tutor and student will work together to set clear, measurable goals for the tutoring sessions. These goals may include improving grades, mastering specific math concepts, or preparing for tests or exams.

Tutoring sessions: The tutor will provide instruction and guidance during the tutoring sessions, using techniques and materials tailored to the student's needs and learning style. The tutor may use examples, practice problems, and visual aids and will work with the student to build their understanding and confidence in math.

Practice and reinforcement: The tutor will provide the student with practice problems and homework assignments to reinforce the concepts and skills covered during the tutoring sessions. The tutor will also provide feedback on the student's work and help them to identify and correct any mistakes.

Progress monitoring: The tutor will regularly assess the student's progress and adjust the tutoring approach as needed. The tutor will also communicate with the student's parent(s) or teacher to provide updates on their progress and to ensure that the tutoring is aligned with their academic goals.
